You can check your ski pole length is correct by turning a ski pole upside down and holding it just under the basket or basket collar if the basket has not been fitted yet. Make sure you are standing straight with your elbow by your side. you want your arm to be at 90 degrees as per this picture or a little down from 90 degrees. Remember on the mountain, you will have ski boots and skis on, and the pole tip should be in the snow:
