Customer Rewards– Spend and Save!

We are excited to announce the launch of our loyalty rewards programme Customer Rewards!

We have some fantastic customers many of whom have been with us from the small beginnings may years ago in a garden shed, through to Edge&Wax and now The Skiers Lounge (a larger shed!) and we have been looking for a way to reward the many loyal customers we have, and to encourage some new ones!

Our Customer Rewards scheme is pretty simple. You can earn points in our showroom, workshop AND online, and spend the points as credits against purchases any way too!

When you spend with us, including most sale items, you will earn points for every transaction, to be spent at a later date. Our current points programme gives you 5% of the value of your order in points to be spent at a later date.

How Do I get Started?

Shopped Online?
Firstly, thanks for doing so! Your Edge And Wax Customer Rewards Account will be created after you have completed your first order and your goods have been despatched; so you will be able to use your Customer Rewards Points when you return to shop with us again.

Shopped In Our Store?
We should have asked for your contact details when you have dropped in your servicing or had a boot fit, from this we can create an account. To do this we need to register your name, address and email address on our system, so that the magic dust our web developers have used works, and logs the points against your account. The final step is to log in to the Customer Rewards website and then enter the email address you gave us. If you have shopped online with us before, enter your password. If not, click on the password reminder link and a password will be sent to your email address.

How can I find out my points balance?

If you create an account when buying online, when you log in you will either see a points balance, or a link to register if you have not yet done so. For those buying in store, if you register an online account with the same email address, the points will be visible.

How Do I Earn Points?

Points will be earned whenever you spend with The Skiers Lounge. The points you earn online buying an item will be shown on the product detail page. In store, when you pay for any purchases, servicing and ski boot fitting, we issue Loyalty Points for every £1 you spend on non sale products. From time to time we may increase (or decrease!) this amount, and you will be able to see this online or we can advise you in store.

Please note it takes up to 72 hours for points to be logged on your account, but normally much, much quicker.

How Do I Spend Points?

If you wish to use your points towards an online purchase, simply log in to the Edge & Wax website (The login is at the top of the page) and you will see your points balance top right, and at the basket. You can then select to use the points and convert them to a discount on your purchase.
In store simply bring your Customer Rewards card into the showroom, and at the checkout offer at the start of the transaction so we can quickly look up your details, and then check your points balance and issue a credit against your purchase!

Can I just have the discount now on what I am buying?

No, sorry! We called this a Loyalty scheme, for regular customers. For instant discounts, there are sites like eBay, and flash sale sites, where yes you can get some better prices, but might not get what you bargained for product and service wise. The points system is to reward our regular customers. Of course you will have some points after purchasing to use at a later date to help with buying a complimentary product or just a treat for yourself! Don't forget there will also be special offers throughout the season where you can get more bang for your points.

How long are the points valid for?

The points will remain on your account for 24 months from the date they are credited to your account. After this time they will be removed. This gives you the current season AND next season to spend them, and allows us to manage the headache of keeping all these points safely stored for you!

What if I need to order on the telephone?

If you wish to order by telephone and are registered with us, your points will be added as normal.

Can I exchange points for cash?

I am afraid not, the points have a cash value 0.0000001p and cannot be exchanged for cash. They can however be used against online orders and in shop purchases for the value indicated in your Customer Rewards account.

We reserve the right to cancel the Customer Rewards programme at any time. We will notify customers by email if we do this. We also reserve the right to adjust the amount of points spent per £1 depending on seasonality and special offers. Please not points are not available on sale items unless we have made a specific offer to do so.
