The off season is the ideal time to have your ski boots checked over – its much more relaxed and quieter in our showroom, and ensures you have plenty of time to sort your gear out and avoid any last minute panics before your next trip!
- We will do a quick measure of your feet, and then check your boots to make sure you are in the correct size ski boot for your feet
- We will check your ski socks and offer advice as required
- We will inspect your boots, checking the plastic shell is intact and not aged through UV damage
- We will check all your buckles are undamaged and still properly riveted to your boots. We can repair or replace any damaged buckles (additonal charge)
- We will inspect your boot soles, as these are critical for secure binding fitting, and advise if these need replacing (additional charge applies for new soles)
- We will check your power strap is fully riveted to the boot and functioning correctly
- We will inspect your ski boot liner and advise you if it is in need of replacement
- We will inspect your custom footbed if one is installed and test it is still correctly moulded to your feet
All of this will be undertaken during your short appointment, and for just £20 for the session. Any parts required to rejuvenate your book will be charged additionally.
If there is an agreement that either your boots, liners or footbeds are in need of replacement we will waive the £20 charge against the purchase of any of these items.
