Designed by Female freeride athletes and guides demanding perfection everywhere they go, the Ripstick 88 Tour W's ground-breaking construction has allowed Elan to drop the weight to a minimum and push performance to the maximum, while maintaining a playful feel for all aspects of the journey.
This 88 mm waisted ski is very light and easy to maneuver, yet deftly capable, making it a true modern touring ski. The touring segment is the trend in alpinism; combining light equipment that performs in powder and remains stable in variable conditions found in the backcountry is essential.
At approximately 1170 g per ski, Elan have targeted the optimal weight for women's touring skis, without sacrificing downhill stability and performance. With carefully designed CARBON BRIDGE TECHNOLOGY, carbon rod reinforcement has been implemeted to connect the energy of the ski for a smooth feel with playful rebound. The length of the reinforcement is designed to exact measures to reduce vibration and tip chatter.
A reduced sidewall shape gives the ski a unique look with functional weight reduction, while full sidewalls increase edge pressure and contact. With a freeride profile and shape, Elan have insured this is the perfect combination of weight to performance ratio for all skiers, in any conditions found in the backcountry.

CARBON BRIDGE TECHNOLOGY
Carbon Bridge Technology, is a revolutionary solution where a single carbon is rod placed on the upper part of the ski, provides stability, dampening, and vibration absorption through the tip.
Tubelite Woodcore
To create the TubeLite Woodcore, two super lightweight Carbon tubes are inserted into a lightweight laminated wood core. These tubes run the length of the ski following the arc of the side cut. They provide torsional stability and powerful rebound while allowing for material reduction of the core. The result is incredible lightweight response and stability.
Carbon Reinforcement
One of the most innovative designs inadventure skiing, Elan’s carbon reinforced construction is extremely lightweight and adds torsional rigidity to create superior performance.
SST - Slanted Sidewall Technology
The SST Construction provides quick, nimble and direct power transmission from the ski to snow as well as providing exceptional torsional rigidity.
Amphibio Technology
Amphibio Tech is the complete, fulldimension asymmetrical ski design. Influencing both the profile and construction of dedicated right and left skis.
