The new Ripstick Tour 94 is designed on a wider platform, enabling the skier to float better, ski faster, and turn easier in backcountry conditions. It is built to blend high performance at a low weight, for the perfect mix of freeride downhill performance and efficient ascending capability.
Combining downhill performance with lightweight construction is an art form when designing skis. Luckily, the art of craftmanship is the heritage of Elan. The Ripstick Tour 94 exceeds all expectations of weight to performance ratios, thanks to extensive testing with our athletes and mountain guides. With their input, we created a super stable, poppy, easy to turn ski, which is focused on meeting light weight requirements to enable the skiers to explore the backcountry no matter how they accesses terrain.
At 94 mm underfoot and with Carbon Bridge technology, the ultra lightweight construction has the support to deliver heavyweight performance to charge any terrain and tackle every ascent with speed and power. When combined with the Almonte 12 PT binding and Ripstick 94 Tour skin, Elan delivers a complete package that allows you to access the best terrain and while achieving peak performance.

CARBON DECK TECHNOLOGY
Carbon Deck Technology combines the powerful rebound of Tubelite Woodcore, with carbon rods and unidirectional carbon (UD) edge bands. These combined technologies provide powerful rebound, torsional rigidity and a strong, stable platform for superior response and a smooth ride.
Flax Fiber
A layer of natural Flax Fiber is placed in the tip of the ski to neutralize vibration and chatter, providing a smooth ride at high speeds and in variable snow conditions.
Tubelite Woodcore
To create the TubeLite Woodcore, two super lightweight Carbon tubes are inserted into a lightweight laminated wood core. These tubes run the length of the ski following the arc of the side cut. They provide torsional stability and powerful rebound while allowing for material reduction of the core. The result is incredible lightweight response and stability.
Carbon Rods
Lightweight Carbon tubes inserted into the ski and run the length of the ski following the arc of the side cut. The carbon tubes provide torsional stability and powerful rebound while allowing for material reduction of the core. The result is incredible lightweight response and stability.
UD Carbon
Unidirectional carbon bands are strategically positioned along both edges of the ski to create torsional stability which produces superior response and intuitive maneuverability at an extremely light weight.
Sintered Running Base
The special ultra-high molecular weight running base delivers excellent durability and superb gliding performance in variety of conditions.
SST - Slanted Sidewall Technology
The SST Construction provides quick, nimble and direct power transmission from the ski to snow as well as providing exceptional torsional rigidity.
Amphibio Technology
Amphibio Tech is the complete, fulldimension asymmetrical ski design. Influencing both the profile and construction of dedicated right and left skis.
