Ski Mojo Skiing Knee Support System with Free Fitting

Season:Current

Brand:Ski~Mojo

Code:SKIMOJO

The Ski~Mojo is a knee support system for skiers with weakness or joint issues in their knees that allows them to continue skiing.

PLEASE NOTE: We offer the Ski~Mojo system for Click & Collect only, for fitting in store free of charge. We have over 10 years experience fitting and using the Ski~Mojo and this ensures the best possible results, and we also will assess your ski boots and footbeds if applicable as part of this fitting.

If you do not need a fitting and want to purchase as system please purchase the system and then contact us to arrange collection or shipping.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON YOUR SKI BOOTS:
The Ski~Mojo relies on strong foundations to function - your ski boots. If your boots are old or have been heavily used, we may not be able to fit a Ski~Mojo safely, and you will not get the full benefits of the device if your feet are not correctly held and supported in your ski boots which would be the first priority. Please book our MOJO+BOOTFIT appointment if you wish to have a ski boot fitting at the same time as your mojo fitting, and if you are unsure if your boots are suitable for mounting PLEASE contact us first as we will not have time to undertake a boot fitting during a mojo only fitting!

The Ski~Mojo does EXACTLY what it says on the tin, it is a knee support system for skiers with weakness or joint issues in their knees that allows them to continue skiing.

We have over 10 years experience fitting and using the Ski~Mojo system, which is why we offer FREE fitting, and only sell the system in store so we can fit the system correctly to your ski boots, demonstrate how the system works, and offer hints and tips of our own experiences using the Ski~Mojo exoskeleton.

The Ski~Mojo takes 33% of the load off of the knee joints allowing you to ski further and for longer.

Features:

  • Reduces pressure on knee joints by 33%
  • Invisible under ski pants
  • Fully adjustable for a custom fit
  • Includes the Ski~Mojo, carry bag, instruction booklet, and hex-key
  • Also comes with a permanent mount set, and a rental boot mounting set

What is Ski~Mojo?

Ski~Mojo is a specialist leg support system designed to reduce strain on your knees, legs and hips while skiing. Worn discreetly under your ski trousers, it uses a spring-loaded support system to help take pressure off your legs during skiing, especially when bending, turning and absorbing terrain.

For many skiers, Ski~Mojo can help reduce fatigue, improve comfort and make long ski days more enjoyable.

It is particularly popular with skiers who still love the sport but find that their knees, thighs or joints are not quite as strong as they used to be.

Who is Ski~Mojo for?

Ski~Mojo is ideal for skiers who want extra support, comfort and confidence on the mountain.

It may be suitable if you:

  • Struggle with knee pain or leg fatigue when skiing
  • Find your legs tire after a few hours on the slopes
  • Have had previous knee injuries or surgery
  • Want to ski longer days with less strain
  • Find getting in and out of bindings harder as the day goes on
  • Want extra support when skiing chopped snow, bumps or variable conditions
  • Are returning to skiing after time away from the sport
  • Simply want to preserve energy and reduce impact through your legs

Ski~Mojo is not just for older skiers. It can also be useful for anyone who wants to reduce leg fatigue and make skiing more comfortable.

How does Ski~Mojo work?

Ski~Mojo works by using a spring-assisted support system fitted to each leg. The system stores and releases energy as your legs bend and extend, helping to support your bodyweight through the skiing movement.

This can help reduce the load placed on your knees, thighs and hip area, particularly when skiing for long periods.

The support can be switched on when skiing and switched off when walking, sitting or moving around off the slopes.

What are the main benefits of Ski~Mojo?

1. Helps reduce knee strain

Knees take a lot of force when skiing, especially when turning, absorbing bumps or skiing in heavier snow. Ski~Mojo helps share some of that load, which can make skiing feel less demanding on the joints.

2. Reduces leg fatigue

One of the biggest benefits is that your legs may feel fresher for longer. This can be especially useful if you normally find your thighs burning after a few runs or your legs weakening later in the day.

3. Helps you ski for longer

For some skiers, Ski~Mojo can be the difference between skiing for a couple of hours and enjoying a full day on the mountain.

4. Improves comfort and confidence

When your legs feel more supported, skiing can feel smoother and more controlled. This can help you relax, enjoy your turns and feel more confident across the day.

5. Discreet under ski clothing

Ski~Mojo is worn underneath your ski trousers, so it is not obvious once fitted. Most skiers can use it without it being noticeable on the mountain.

Is Ski~Mojo suitable for beginners?

Ski~Mojo can be used by a wide range of skiers, but it is usually most beneficial for people who already ski and want extra leg support, reduced fatigue or help managing existing weakness or discomfort.

For complete beginners, the priority should still be good boots, good instruction and appropriate terrain. However, if leg strength, knee pain or joint support is a concern, Ski~Mojo may still be worth considering.

Can Ski~Mojo help with knee pain?

Many skiers use Ski~Mojo because they experience knee discomfort, weakness or fatigue while skiing. By helping to reduce the load through the legs, it may make skiing more comfortable.

However, it is important to remember that Ski~Mojo is not a medical treatment or a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have a current injury, ongoing pain or concerns about skiing after surgery, you should speak to a medical professional before travelling or skiing.

Can you wear Ski~Mojo under ski trousers?

Yes. Ski~Mojo is designed to be worn underneath your ski trousers. Once fitted, it is usually discreet and does not get in the way of normal ski clothing.

You may want to check that your ski trousers have enough room around the thigh and knee area, especially if they are very slim-fitting.

Is Ski~Mojo comfortable to ski in?

When correctly fitted and adjusted, Ski~Mojo should feel supportive rather than restrictive. It needs to be set up properly so that the support works with your skiing position and movement.

Fit is important. A poorly adjusted system may not give the full benefit, which is why buying from a knowledgeable retailer can make a real difference.

Does Ski~Mojo affect your skiing technique?

Ski~Mojo is designed to support your natural skiing movement, not replace it. You still need to ski properly, balance correctly and use good technique.

Most skiers use it to reduce fatigue and strain, rather than to change the way they ski. Once you are used to the feeling, it should become a natural part of your skiing setup.

How do I choose the right Ski~Mojo?

Choosing the correct Ski~Mojo depends mainly onn your weight but there are other factors to consider to then setting the system up correctly.

The most important things to consider are:

  • Your bodyweight
  • Your skiing ability
  • Your reason for using Ski~Mojo
  • Any previous injuries or limitations
  • How often you ski
  • Whether you want help with fatigue, joint support or both

Because fit and setup matter, we recommend speaking to us before buying if you are unsure which version is right for you.

Why buy Ski~Mojo from The Skiers Lounge?

At The Skiers Lounge, we do not stock Ski~Mojo simply because it is another ski accessory. We stock it because we know what a difference it can make.

Our owner Scott uses Ski~Mojo personally after years of knee injuries and surgery. Without it, he can ski for a few hours before fatigue and discomfort begin to take over. With Ski~Mojo, he can ski full days with much more comfort and confidence.

That first-hand experience means we can offer honest, practical advice based on real use, not just product information.

We understand who Ski~Mojo may help, how it should feel, and why the correct setup matters.

Is Ski~Mojo worth it?

If leg fatigue, knee pain or reduced strength is limiting your time on the mountain, Ski~Mojo can be a very worthwhile investment.

Ski holidays are expensive. If a support system helps you ski longer, feel more comfortable and enjoy more of your trip, it can quickly become one of the most valuable pieces of ski equipment you own.

For some skiers, Ski~Mojo can help turn a half-day of cautious skiing into a full day of enjoying the mountain.

Sizing Information

Ski-Mojo Sizing Explained - Which Ski-Mojo Should you buy?

The system is based on your weight with ski clothing (and don't forget to add boots at 5KG) and allows us to set the spring correctly.

The first step is to buy the Ski-Mojo system that your weight sits in. To reassure you, if in future you had a change in weight, we can swap the springs inside the Ski-Mojo to suit your weight.

- Ski~Mojo 45 (Blue spring) - For skiers between 45KG and 55KG (7st1lb to 8st 9lb)
- Ski~Mojo 55 (Silver spring) - For skiers between 55KG and 75KG (8st 9lb to 11st 11lb)
- Ski~Mojo 75 (Gold spring) - For skiers over 75KG (Over 11st 11lb)

If you need further advice give us a call. We always keep spare springs on site so if the system you ordered is not suitable we can change it, but follow the above chart and you will be fine.

Professional Opinion

Our Owner Scott’s Experience with the Ski~Mojo Leg Support System

For some skiers, Ski~Mojo can be the difference between skiing for a couple of hours and enjoying full days on the mountain.

"After years of knee injuries from mountain biking and skiing, my knees are no longer what they used to be. I can still ski without a Ski~Mojo, but usually only for two or three hours before my knee and upper leg muscles start to fatigue. At that point, I find myself slowing down, stopping more often, or sometimes cutting the ski day short.

With the Ski~Mojo, the difference is huge. I can ski comfortably for a full day, with far less fatigue in my legs. It also makes simple but important movements, like stepping into my bindings, much easier later in the day — something I can really struggle with after previous knee surgery.

That personal experience is exactly why we stock the Ski~Mojo system at The Skiers Lounge. I have known the product for many years, watched it evolve, and use it myself. I understand what it can do, who it can help, and the difference it can make to a ski holiday.

For skiers who struggle with knee pain, leg fatigue, reduced strength, or simply want extra support on longer days, Ski~Mojo can make a real difference to how much of the mountain they get to enjoy.

Not sure if Ski~Mojo is right for you? Contact us for honest advice from skiers who know the system and use it themselves."

  • Can I wear a knee brace with a Ski~Mojo and do I need to?
    Question asked by Chris M (7th January 2026) on 10/07/2026 19:26:58
A good question we are asked a lot. Scott here DOES sometimes run the Ski~Mojo with a knee brace.

The advice is if you wear a knee brace, if possible discuss with a physiotherapist or whomever fitted your brace and let them advise. Some knee braces fit better than others. Scott tested many over the years including models from Donjoy, CTi, and others but as his ACL and MCL are stretched but fine otherwise he uses a Mueller HG80 hinged knee brace. The 3 point hinges track the movement of the Ski~Mojo well, allowing some offset and also fit in unison with the Ski~Mojo system, although a little bulky. He has lately been unsing the ImBrace leggings which incorporate supportive panels in the design. These work effortlessly with the Ski~Mojo system, and he found them very supportive, but everyone is different and their support needs too, so do discuss options with someone who can advise you based on your issues and history.
  • Which Ski~Mojo size do I need? Do I need to be naked or wear clothing?
Question asked by Harry Tranter on 10/07/2026 18:03:08

Ok, thats a first here. You can go commando if you want, we wouldnt recommend it especially on the mountain, but the Ski~Mojo system is selected based on your weight in ski clothing:

    • Ski~Mojo 45 Blue Spring: for skiers between 45 kg and 55 kg
    • Ski~Mojo 55 Silver Spring: for skiers between 55 kg and 75 kg
    • Ski~Mojo 75 Gold Spring: for skiers over 75 kg

If you are unsure which version you need, or whether your ski boots are suitable for fitting, please contact us before booking. If your boots are older or not fitting correctly, we may recommend booking a Ski~Mojo plus boot fitting appointment so we have enough time to assess everything properly. There is little point in spending money on the Ski~Mojo if your ski boots are not correctly fitted and supporting you whilst reducing stress on your knee jots and helping you use less energy. We would rather you invest in a good pair of fitted ski boots first rather than renting or using older boots, as these are your foundation for good, safe and efficient skiing.

  • Will the Ski~Mojo help me ski all day?
Question asked by Tariq on 10/07/2026 18:02:34

For many skiers, including me (Scott) yes. The Ski~Mojo is designed to reduce the effort required from your legs, which can help you ski further and for longer before fatigue sets in.

I use the Ski~Mojo following a history of knee injuries. Without it, I can ski for a 2-3 hours before his knees and upper leg muscles start to struggle and the pain is too much in my knee joint. With the Ski~Mojo, I can ski all day. That real-world experience is one of the reasons we stock it and take the fitting process seriously to give you the best fit possible to ski for longer.

  • Why do you only sell Ski~Mojo with free in-store fitting?
Question asked by Elisha on 10/07/2026 18:01:52
Good question. Its based on 15 years of experience with the product from the very first Mark 1 with cut-to-fit carbon graphite ski rods...

Correct fitting is essential to get the best results. That is why we sell the Ski~Mojo for Click & Collect and fit it in store free of charge. Yes, Ski~Mojo say you can purchase the product and fit it yourself - and you can, once you have played with it its very easy to get along with.

However, our fitting service - which is FREE - is more than just about the fitting, its giving you 15 years of our knowledge using the product day in day out on the mountain.

During your fitting, we set the system up to your ski boots, show you how it works, and give you practical advice based on our own experience using the system. We also check your ski boots and footbeds where needed, because the Ski~Mojo relies on strong foundations. If your boots are old, heavily worn or not supporting your feet properly, the Ski~Mojo will not work as effectively.

So yes, you can buy a Ski~Mojo and fit it yourself, and do call us if you wish to do so, but we recommend a fitting and feel its very worthwhile. Ski~Mojo is an investment after all.

  • Who is the Ski~Mojo best suited to?
    Question asked by Martin P (14th October 2025) on 10/07/2026 18:01:18

Ski~Mojo is ideal for recreational skiers who still want to enjoy skiing but find that their knees, thighs or legs are limiting how long they can stay on the slopes. Having said that, there are many advanced skiers using the Ski~Mojo, former British ski team member Chemmy Alcott is both a brand ambassador and a Ski-Mojo user.

It is most commonly used by skiers with previous knee injuries, age-related joint discomfort, general leg fatigue, reduced strength or skiers who feel they are skiing defensively because they are trying to protect their knees. Many skiers can manage the first few hours of the day, but struggle later on as their legs tire. This is exactly where the Ski~Mojo can help.

  • What does the Ski~Mojo do?
Question asked by Clare (11th December 2025) on 10/07/2026 18:00:39

The Ski~Mojo is a leg support system for skiers who suffer from knee weakness, joint issues, tired legs or reduced strength when skiing. It works by helping to take some of the load away from your knees and upper leg muscles, allowing many skiers to ski for longer, with less fatigue and more confidence.

It is not a magic cure and it is not a replacement for properly fitted ski boots, but when set up correctly it can make a huge difference to skiers who would otherwise have to stop early, take more breaks or cut their ski day short. Combine a Ski~Mojo with a properly fitted ski boot and a set of custom made ski footbeds, and you will have a sound foundation, and support that helps the knees to move in a forwards plane, with up to 33% less effort required from the muscles so they can continue to support the knee better.

  • Is the Ski Mojo knee supports any good?
Question asked by Pat on 10/07/2026 17:59:31

Yes — and we do not say that lightly. The Ski~Mojo is one of those products that can sound a bit unusual until you try it, but for the right skier it can be a real game changer. It does exactly what is says on the tin, and staff here use it for the same reason many of our customers do - to continue skiing in less pain and for longer.

If your head still wants to ski all day but your knees or thighs have started voting for an early vin chaud, the Ski~Mojo can help keep you going. It supports your legs, reduces fatigue and can make skiing feel easier and more enjoyable.

The important bit is getting it fitted properly. It is not a magic pair of robot legs, and it will not turn you into an Olympic downhill racer overnight, but with the right setup and suitable ski boots, it can make a huge difference to your ski holiday.
