Expanding on the reassuring and capable feel of Ripstick, on which Elan's reputation has been built, the Ripstick Tour 94 W benefits from an overall reduction in weight while maintaining peak performance. The Ripstick Tour 94 W delivers state-of-the-art lightweight technology in a wider ski design. It has everything you need to confidently enjoy your next touring adventure.
It's tricky finding the perfect balance between downhill performance and lightweight construction for efficient ascents. The Ripstick 94 Tour W is the perfect solution for riders that want more float on the descent and prefer a wider ski in the backcountry.
For ambitious free touring, we combined the new Carbon Bridge technology with the implementation of carbon rod reinforcement and the result is a strong ski with powerful rebound and the best weight/performance ratio in the free touring segment. The length of the reinforcement is designed to exact measures to reduce vibration and tip chatter.
A reduced sidewall shape gives the ski a unique look and functional weight reduction, while full sidewalls were added to increase edge pressure and contact. This ski is designed to be light and quick on the ascent yet stable and solid on the descent.
Ripstick 94 Tour W is a universal touring ski that doesn't leave anything to be desired.

CARBON DECK TECHNOLOGY
Carbon Deck Technology combines the powerful rebound of Tubelite Woodcore, with carbon rods and unidirectional carbon (UD) edge bands. These combined technologies provide powerful rebound, torsional rigidity and a strong, stable platform for superior response and a smooth ride.
Flax Fiber
A layer of natural Flax Fiber is placed in the tip of the ski to neutralize vibration and chatter, providing a smooth ride at high speeds and in variable snow conditions.
Tubelite Woodcore
To create the TubeLite Woodcore, two super lightweight Carbon tubes are inserted into a lightweight laminated wood core. These tubes run the length of the ski following the arc of the side cut. They provide torsional stability and powerful rebound while allowing for material reduction of the core. The result is incredible lightweight response and stability.
Carbon Rods
Lightweight Carbon tubes inserted into the ski and run the length of the ski following the arc of the side cut. The carbon tubes provide torsional stability and powerful rebound while allowing for material reduction of the core. The result is incredible lightweight response and stability.
UD Carbon
Unidirectional carbon bands are strategically positioned along both edges of the ski to create torsional stability which produces superior response and intuitive maneuverability at an extremely light weight.
Sintered Running Base
The special ultra-high molecular weight running base delivers excellent durability and superb gliding performance in variety of conditions.
SST - Slanted Sidewall Technology
The SST Construction provides quick, nimble and direct power transmission from the ski to snow as well as providing exceptional torsional rigidity.
Amphibio Technology
Amphibio Tech is the complete, fulldimension asymmetrical ski design. Influencing both the profile and construction of dedicated right and left skis.
